How a Rotary Screw Air Compressor Works

Air Intake

Ambient air enters through a large inlet filter that removes dust and particulates before reaching the compression chamber.

Two interlocking helical rotors rotate in opposite directions. Air gets trapped between them and compressed as the rotor chambers reduce in volume toward the outlet side.

Oil Separation

Compressed air passes through the three-stage air-oil separator. Oil is removed and returned to the system. Carryover at the outlet stays below 3 PPM.

Cooling

An oversized air-oil cooler with a large format fan reduces the temperature of both the compressed air and the recirculating oil before delivery.

Delivery
